The City of Houston, TX Birth Chart Why Houston?

Now that we have some idea how devastating Eclipses can be or when the stars aren’t aligned over a particular place, or natal  birth chart let’s look at The city of Houston’s birth chart.  The city of Houston, TX  was inaugurated or formed on August 24, 1836.  We can learn lots as students of astrology by studying our own charts, the charts or others and even places!  Everyone, everything and everyplace has a birth date and a beginning.  You can see that the city of Houston was born on August 24^th and the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred on August 21^st.  As the Moon left the exact degree of the eclipse it entered the sign of Virgo and conjoined Houston’s 10^th house (Saturn ruled) Sun and opposed natal Neptune, squared the Ascendant and was in-conjunct natal Neptune, the sea.  In many cases the 10th house is associated with loss and great downfalls.  The ongoing Sesquiquadrate between Neptune and Uranus _RX in Aries contributed to the unforeseen property damage caused by the sea and violent winds. Unpredictable is a key word associated with Uranus!   Maybe under a normal New Moon none of this devastation would have occurred, but this was a powerful new Moon Eclipse.  The good news is that Houston, TX has a strong chart with basic values of people helping people.  Rebuilding and reinventing is strongly indicated in the chart of Houston, TX.  We still have Mercury and Mars transiting the Solar Eclipse degrees and binding the chart of Houston, TX until September 11^th.  We all still need to be extra careful.
