The Trinity of Luck
In
the Traditional practice of Feng Shui, it is believed that we as human
beings are governed by three types of luck experienced in our lifetime.
This is called the Trinity of Luck – Heaven Luck, Earth Luck and Human
Luck. The impact the Trinity has is inter-woven throughout our lives and
they are not separate identities – they work with each other hand in
hand.
Firstly, Heaven luck
refers to the destiny that you were born with. It refers to karma, past
lives, health predispositions, family ancestry, relationships and
childhood environment. In addition, it defines your personality and
character and the qualities that lie within you. This type of luck you
have little control over and represents about a third of your luck.
Earth luck is
Feng Shui. This luck is determined by our surroundings and our
environment. It refers to our location, where you reside and work. Feng
Shui can help harness the natural forces created in our environments to
enhance balance, harmony and the potential to achieve our goals. With
careful environmental observations, it is possible to tap into a state
of synchronicity which can increase the likelihood of the arrival of
opportunities. The advantage of synchronicity varies for each
individual, depending on their personal journey and life aspirations. It
can affect all aspects of your life, such as relationships, abundance,
success, health, or career aspirations. Earth luck represents another
third of your luck in this lifetime.
The final luck offered to us is called Mankind or Human luck
and this part of your life you have totally control over. It refers to
our thoughts, feeling, emotions, words, deeds and actions. It reflects
your personal attitude, education, virtues and the choices and decisions
that your make regarding your personal journey on this earth. This is
the luck that you create for yourself - It is the manifestation of your
willingness and motivation to achieve the outcome you desire for your
life.
As
an individual, you have total control over this type of luck, and when
it is united with Earth Luck through the awareness of Feng Shui, you can
experience greater harmony and gratification in key areas of your life.
You
can utilize positive symbols, words and images within your surroundings
to help focus and connect your personal aspirations by means of your Mankind Luck with the appropriate Earth Luck.
To make the most of your overall luck potential, you should seek to
cultivate a positive attitude while applying strategic Feng Shui to your
home and work environment.
The Money
Frog, also known as the Three-Legged Toad or Wealth Frog is probably
the most auspicious symbol of good fortune. This mythical creature is
said to appear every full moon near homes that will receive good news of
increased wealth or monetary gain. Often portrayed sitting on a bed of
wealth bearing a coin in its mouth, it is a wonderful symbol for wealth
and career luck.
When
placing your Money Frog, please make sure that you place it in the
vicinity of your front door. You can place 3, 6, or 9 Money Frogs as
long as it’s divisible by 3. Make sure that you have one frog facing the
door and the other facing inside the house. Just scatter them on the
floor, it can be under a table or chair. Never put the three legged toad
on the table they should always be on the floor and make sure that they
all have a coin in their mouth!
Luck
is ultimately when awareness and knowledge, along with the right
attitude, meet opportunity. Feng Shui can help attract positive energy,
thus enhance the possibility of manifesting abundant opportunities.
