2013 The Year Ahead

In 2013 there’s predominance of transiting planets in the waters signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.  Mars will transit Pisces and Cancer this year and join Neptune in Pisces and Jupiter when it enters Cancer in July. Saturn will continue its transit through Scorpio and Neptune will continue its transit through Pisces, all water signs. Not only is there a predominance of transits through the water signs but there is a prevalence of planets transiting  the feminine negative polarity suggesting a year of reactions to events or stimuli, a year when we have to be provoked into taking action.  It’s a year of attracting what you need instead of actively pursuing what you want. It’s a switch from the masculine power to the feminine. Home values, family, a sense of belonging, healing, overcoming obstacles and compassion and love are all favored this year. This will help us when confronted with some of the challenges brought on by the Uranus Pluto squares occurring May 21, 2013 and Nov. 1, 2013 which continues to break down all forms of psychological programming, financial domination and barriers in not only our individual lives but in the world. 

In 2013 according to NASA the upcoming solar flare cycle could reach a maximum and could produce very strong solar flares and coronal mass ejections. The potential of not only causing significant damage to our power grid as well as our orbiting satellites, but according to the late Russian scientist A. L. Tchijevsky they also have an effect on “mass excitability”, or in other words rioting. Typically, we are more restless during these solar flare cycles. 

When confronted with injustice we will rise to the occasion en masse, and take to the streets.  When confronted with tragedy, or unforeseen events we will also rise to the occasion with compassion and love. We will be human beings, each one of us.
