Since nothing great is ever accomplished
without the astrological squares, here we go!
The first 7 Uranus-Pluto squares begin as Uranus in Aries squares Pluto RX in Capricorn
on June 24. Uranus in Aries will
square Pluto in Capricorn seven times between now and the end of March, 2015
and it’s
important to note that the Moon will occult or eclipse the planet Pluto for
about 18 months too. Additionally, this
Uranus along with Pallas squares Pluto which conjoins the fixed star Facies,
which is combative, courageous and lends itself to courageous acts and glamour. The legend goes that in Roman times if you
could see that this star was not a star but a cluster of stars you could be a
Roman Soldier, hence those born under this star have piercing eyes. The asteroid Pallas encourages our ability to
recognize patterns and to rearrange things. The Fixed star Facies represents
the underdog who just goes for it and wins!
Uranus has an eye on the future, initiates change and rebelliously throws
caution to the wind in pursuit of it, and while Pluto transforms and changes
the Earth beneath you, Pluto is retrograde right now and its influence is
dulled so Uranus takes charge. In Aries
Uranus initiates new energy and while Pluto is retrograde in Capricorn the
tension between the new and the status quo is more moderate. Uranus square Pluto is the ultimate sign of
receiving cosmic messages and fulfilling them.
