On Apr.04 the world will experience the shortest Total Lunar Eclipse of the 21st century

On Apr.04 the world will experience the shortest Total Lunar Eclipse of the 21^st century, a Full Moon Eclipse at 14°21’ in the sign of Libra, the scales, also a Minor Lunar Standstill, which will be visible in Western United States.  You’ll want to check your natal birth chart  for planets, asteroids and house cusps at 14°.  This Full Moon Eclipse at 14°21’ in the sign of Libra, the scales strives for balance, but sometimes go out of balance, tilting one way then another, sometimes moving quickly back and forth and sometimes standing still.  It’s a rare Full Moon Eclipse in the sign of the karmic scales; Libra is the ruler of relationships, diplomacy, good manners and beauty.  What makes this Full Moon Eclipse  rare and unique is that it will be the shortest Eclipse of the 21^st century.  It will be visible throughout the Western Unites States.  Eclipses are harbingers of things to come, they are in fact omens, and have far reaching effects, typically 10 days before and 3 days after we can be strongly influenced by any eclipse.  Overall, their effects can be felt for a longer period of time. 

This Total Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Libra is more potent because of the aspects it makes to the waxing Uranus-Pluto square.  This eclipse could forewarn or be an omen of things to come, if things do not change on the earth or in your personal life.  In Libra, the eclipse affects personal relationships.  Libra is the ruler of marriage, relationships, partnerships, diplomacy, beauty and wealth. Homage to Ceres

On Friday March 6th the Spacecraft Dawn will visit Ceres the dwarf planet ruler of motherhood, fertility, and the harvest.  As we approach the last Uranus-Pluto square it's interesting to note that Ceres too had a run in with Pluto, who with Jupiter’s approval kidnapped her beloved daughter Proserpina and married her.
Long story short, as a result Ceres was so sad nothing grew on Earth and Jupiter sent Mercury the messenger God to go and get Proserpina from Pluto and return her to her mother.  Pluto did, but tricked Proserpina into eating a Pomegranate sacred to the underworld.  In the fall and winter the world grows cold and nothing grows because Proserpina is in the underworld with Pluto and her mother Ceres is sad. In the spring and summer Proserpina comes back to Ceres and Ceres makes the world warm and happy and all the flowers grow.

The fated degree, the 29th Degree of Scorpio

Saturn is in the fated degree of Scorpio the 29th degree.  In the famed Astrologer Dane Rudhyar’s book ,  An Astrological Mandala he says of the Sabian Symbol for the 29^th degree of Scorpio:  

"An Indian Squaw pleading to the chief for the lives of her children." He goes on to say “it is the squaw who seeks to counteract the misdeeds or the karma of her children through her love and implorations”. It represents the value of prayer he suggests.  This is the 29^th degree of Scorpio that we will revisit in the summer of 2015, specifically June 15^th-July 4^th and Sept. 1^st-Sept. 18^th.
