This week in the stars

As this week gets underway the Moon is waning in Aquarius.  The Moon in Aquarius can be friendly and chatty but more often than not people don’t feel like socializing with others for one reason of another and tend seek out new friends, new social situations or just want some down time when the Moon’s in Aquarius.   This week the Waning Moons starts in the fixed sign of Aquarius, and you’ll want to be with old friends or you’ll seek out new social situations.  The week ends in another fixed sign the sign of Taurus, which just likes to be comfortable. It’s been almost 1 year since I began recording Daily Horoscopes for iheartradio; longer since they first contacted me about recording them.  It’s been a transformational journey.  From wondering if I was up for the daily challenge of recording about 315 shows per month, and if I could keep the content fresh, ah daily.  Any astrologer would tell you that it is a real challenge to write let alone record that much content.  In fact the word on the street (or from other professional astrologers) is “How do you do that?”

I spent the 1^st 4 months not getting any sleep, staying up til 4:00 am writing out each and every horoscope, re-recording them over and over again, and secretly wondering if it was relevant and if you all, my fans and audience liked them.  I went on immunology treatments to combat allergies and make my voice sound better, and the list goes on and on.

Like anything, every time I am asked to take on such as a project,  like write horoscopes for a weekly or monthly magazine, I have learned over the years to approach everything politically, as in I could be voted out of office, at anytime, at anyone’s discretion or whim.  Frankly, I’m cynical like that! So with all that, always on the back of my mind I took on the task of recording Daily Horoscopes for iheartradio.  Talk about pressure!  Now, I’m more comfortable with it and I even look forward to recording them, and your response of course has been great! So keep listening! The week in the Stars!

The culmination of the Uranus-Pluto square and the Grand Cardinal square makes for a few tense days.  Perhaps you’re thinking about all the things in your life that you just can’t take anymore or that just aren’t working out.  Perhaps you don’t like the way you’re getting treated anymore. not from your boss , not from a spouse, a friend or a lover, it might be an  indication that it’s time to leave, end the relationship and move on, even if it means some alone time and restructuring your life. 

Sometimes when these planets bunch up like this you can be feeling under the weather or down trodden like you've so worked hard, and you just can’t see the end in sight and maybe you’re wondering, “is this all there is”? There’s always that thought just before things change, get better, and take an upward turn, especially if you've worked hard and long at something like your career.  Relationships?  Well that’s another matter altogether. 

Is it real love or something else?

Today the planet of Love Venus aspects the planet of transformation, deep and meaningful connections Pluto.  It’s time to renew our feelings of love to express them in a more touching or creative way. It’s time to go deep.  There are so many aspects that bring two people together and sometimes astrologers only scratch the surface.  The asteroids tell a much deeper story and paint a more vibrant picture.  The asteroid Sapphos is raw and is that inexplicable and undeniable chemistry between two people.  The asteroid Eros is the passion you have for someone and they for you.  

The asteroid Amor relates to closeness and intimacy in a relationship or between you and another. Juno of course is all about soulmates and covenant relationships. Who doesn’t want to dig deeper into their personal relationships  and find out what the bond is really made of?  This week in my consultations I’ve opened up the books of love and I’m digging deeper into the mysteries of these potent asteroids.

The Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse The Blood Moon April 15, 2014 in Libra

The Full Moon Eclipse at 25° 16’ Libra is Total Lunar Eclipse, the 1^st of a rare series of 4 Total Lunar Eclipses this year.  Mars, Ceres and Vesta accompany the Full Moon Eclipse.  Ceres and Vesta are two asteroids that influence the running of households, traditions, and food, so you could be concerned about relationships or money, but you could also be concerned with religious traditions and the Spring Holidays. The Lunar North Node and Mars will be at the exact degree of this Total Full Moon Eclipse dubbed a Blood Moon because of it’s close proximity to the planet Mars, in July, so this suggests the influence of this Full Moon Eclipse will be felt through the month of July.  How will this amazing eclipse affect you? Vesta and the Lunar North Node

The Lunar North Node and Vesta are aligned suggesting this is a great time for new traditions, and to break routine and break from the worn out past.  It's a time of new ways of doing things especially in partnerships, and within relationships.  How often is one relationship associated with a way of celebrating and doing things and another relationship is associated with following different traditions and doing things differently.  How often do we make new traditions in new relationships, like trips we take together, the important anniversary dates and how they are kept, as a way to celebrate a relationship's milestones.  That's how Vesta and the Lunar North Node in Libra are functioning right now.  

Vesta of course is always asked to behave herself as one of the virginal keepers of the flame.  She also was the keeper of secrets and kept the traditions of the secret rituals too.  Rituals are always in our life; important and not to be overlooked.  They are sacred.  We may have a morning ritual, an afternoon ritual, a ritual before we leave the house well, you get it. 

So as Vesta and the Lunar North align perhaps your daily rituals will change, the time you wake up in the morning, what you have time to do before you go to bed.  Perhaps your timing will change and you may have to re-arrange your rituals, those things you do repeatedly; especially if a relationship enters your life. The Lunar Node brings new changes to relationships as the Lunar North Node transits through the sign of Libra.  Relationships morph, they change, new ones come into our lives, and our day to day rituals change, as you make room for someone else in your life. be the keeper of  sacred flame, remember those special days, that are sacred to your relationship and also make things sacred and special by remembering them and making new traditions.  It could breathe new life into your relationship or make your new relationship sacred.  

Juno ruler of marriage and complicated breakups, is in play.

The Sun has entered Aries and will soon meet up with the asteroid Juno and the planet of sudden change Uranus.  Juno influences marriage no doubt, and is always somewhere when a marriage occurs or even when the actual marriage license is signed.  It’s important and of course interesting to see where Juno is in your chart and how it’s being aspected.  It’s equally important to see where Juno is in your significant others chart or in the chart of someone, you’re interested in and how it will be aspected in the near future.  The asteroid Juno will aspect the Lunar South Node indicating that many who are completing their covenant relationships and karma relationship cycles.  They say that letting go is hard to do and Juno lets us know when enough is enough and it’s time to move on.  This could indicate divorce for some, and breakups for others.  Juno has a harsh side and indicates betrayal, cheating, and since she rules the legal marital agreement Juno is also concerned with joint assets, big money divorces and inheritance.  If you want to know where Juno is in your chart, or your partner's chart Juno looks like this in your natal birth chart.
