As your horoscope week begins Venus the planet of love and money enters the fixed air sign Aquarius. The planet Venus is called Earth’s sister planet because she is never far away from Earth. The ancients feared the planet Venus because often times her transits spoke of disasters, not unlike the one we experienced when Venus and the Sun conjoined the North Node in Capricorn. With Mars still retrograde in Leo our efforts are frustrated to get things done in a productive way. It takes twice the energy and fortitude to get things done now. Retrograde Saturn and Pluto are within a one degree orb square, and there’s always the breaking down and destroying of things no longer necessary or useful. 2009 has been quite a year. For me 2010 is going to be a year of new projects and exciting new beginnings. Along with these new project comes more work.  I already am writing 4 different Daily Horoscopes,  weekly, monthly horoscopes and of course numerous 2010 Horoscopes.  There are Radio Shows and News Paper and Magazine articles too. It takes a lot of time!
2010 will bring a book and a new TV appearances and perhaps project or two.

As the horoscope week begins the Sun has entered the sign of Sagittarius. If you wake up for sunrise the Sun will be rising in the east in the sign of Sagittarius. Babies born between 6-8 am will be Sagittarius rising babies! Sagittarians are known for their freedom loving proclivities yet are very traditional when it comes to holidays and family. They love the pomp and circumstance of any holiday festivity and of course any reason to celebrate! Where is Sagittarius in your chart? This is where you will hold to tradition in the happiest of ways!


This week the two closest planets to Earth make aspects to the unusual line up of planets in Aquarius.

Venus will square Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune. Venus is the planet most easily visible planet from Earth and the planet that gets the closest to Earth is the brightest object in the skies. She’s called both the evening star and the morning star because her transit is never outside of Earths’ orbit, so it’s always visible to us on Earth. You can’t miss it, it’s the brightest star in the skies. Venus's orbit 584-days before it’s successive close approach to the Earth, which is almost exactly equal to five Venus solar days. No one knows if this relationship arose by chance or is the result of some kind of relationships with the Earth. The Mandela Venus creates in the skies is a 5 pointed star, a pentagram. This weeks aspects to Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces, aren’t alone. Mercury, the messenger planet and our other closest planet also aspects Jupiter, Chiron, Neptune and Uranus, but, while Venus squares the planets in Aquarius Mercury sextiles them. This makes way for strong gains. Mercury is immediacy and if you have been waiting for changes to occur this could be your week. The sign of Aquarius and its ruling planet Uranus are the higher octave of Mercury. Opportunities for change are abundant. Step into the future and just let the past go for now. Expect this week to be exciting and full of changes. Take all the opportunities that come to you.

Venus rules women’s issues and finances. Venus is the ruler of the sign of Libra where Saturn now transits but squares Pluto. Since Aquarius is essentially the 2nd house to the 10th house, corporate profits or government profits are at issue. The debate over the treatment of women and the health care of women rages on. When women suffer relationships and marriages suffer. This suggests attempts to get away with or use a slight of hand over women’s issues will not get far. Compromises in health care will be made. Attempts by government or big business to raise prices will be met with opposition as the Moon grows in fullness.

There are many cycles in business and statistics used to make financial predictions one is called the Kondratieff long cycle which is based on the 45 year business cycle, The Kondratieff long cycle (45-60 years) coincides with the timing of the Saturn - Uranus cycles. Saturn and Uranus conjoin about every 45 yrs. They oppose each other approximately every 23 years. This cycle suggests that there is an up and down cycle to economics. Whenever economics are bad or breaking down the spirituality cycle is on an upwards swing and goes up. In bad economic cycles the public has a sense of unpredictability and confusion, and this opens the doors to greater awareness spiritually.

Whenever we have the outer planets aspecting each other we have situations on planet Earth that affect masses of people. This began with the Saturn-Uranus oppositions which trigger the social, revolution of the 60’s. Was it a time of turmoil, of course it was. The 60’s changed the world as we know and caused a “revolution”. The 60’s changed the mass consciousness, and gave birth to a new spiritual awakening. The aspects now are just as volatile for mass uprisings to occur. How volatile, peaceful or bloody could be dependent on the Sun Spot cycle. We know that the Sun spot cycle has been at an all time low, but that could change. If it changes in the 2nd half of the year 2010 and become more active, like it’s supposed to the collective thought and masses arise.

You are facing a Miracle!  As this horoscope week begins it marks the beginning of a powerful period that will last for some time to come. The line up of planets in forward looking Aquarius ask each one of us to take a leap of faith and just believe that while Saturn squares Pluto, pruning and ridding you of what’s no longer necessary for your future you will end up a stronger and better person for it.

Astrology predates Astronomy but is still surrounded by critics and controversy and seen as little more than hocus pocus. Yet the most read section of any newspaper, magazine, or website is the Horoscope section. Take that out and publishers know they’ve got trouble on their hands.
We still haven’t decided if Astrology is fact or fiction. Yet more is probably known about astrology than even astronomy. Astronomers and scientists get it wrong all the time and admit it.

Thousands of years ago our ancestors began to note the movement of the Sun, the Moon, the planets and the constellations. They created calendars, which we still use today. With nothing else but the naked eye they plotted our solar system. They meticulously wrote down their findings and observations and passed them along for future generations. Our forefathers and ancestors were one with their universe. Their observations were and still are the basis for both astronomy and predictive astrology today.
Back then thousands of years ago astronomy and astrology were one. Astrologers were priests and religion included astrology. We can still see this today as every major religion still uses the transits of the Sun and Moon to time their major Holidays.
Today we benefit from this wealth of predictive information handed down by our forefathers. Even though much of it has been destroyed in the name of God and dogmatic religion enough has survived that makes astrology a potent and viable tool today.

Saturn in the Fated Degrees Now

The planet Saturn ruler over time and karma is entering the very last degrees of Virgo. These degrees are called the "Fated Degrees" or the "Karmic Degrees".
