The August lunar eclipse belongs to a family of eclipses of Saros Series 119, and is member number 61 of 82 eclipse.
 
Saros Series 119 all Eclipses occur at Descending Node
Saros Series 119 Lunar eclipses all occur at the Moon’s descending node and the Moon moves northward with each eclipse.
