Ophiuchus the 13th Zodiac Sign What's the real story

Ophiuchus, the 13th Zodiac Sign What's the real story?  There are many methods of astrology, including Vedic or Sidereal, Chinese, Mayan, Arabian, to name a few.  While it's true the Earth's orbit changes,  Tropical or Western Astrology is not based on the Earth's precession's it is based the on The Earth's transit around the Sun, the 4 seasons of the year, and 12 months of the year.  It is a system of astrology based on the ancient Babylonian system of astrology that has been adopted by our western cultures.

Sidereal Astrology or Vedic astrology aligns to the skies as it is seen by the naked eye.  But is more popular in eastern cultures, like India.  For example you might be a Taurus in Western astrology but an Aries in Sidreal, Eastern or Vedic astrology.

Deep space and Uranian astrology also take into account the vast wonders of our universe with all it's stars and constellations.  Currently there are about 88 named constellations, with no new constellations having been added recently. All are valid systems of astrology.    Ophiuchus, the 13th sign of the Zodiac is nothing new, the ancients knew of it too, and chose not to include it as a Western zodiac sign and the vedic astrologers do not include it as a zodiac sign.

In our system of Western or Tropical system of astrology there are 12 zodiac signs, 12 months of the year,  12 apostles, 12 tribes of Israel, 4 triplicites, 4 elements.  4 seasons, all fitting into a nice little package called Tropical or Western Astrology
